CPESN USA has announced the finalists for the 2018 CPESN Luminary-of-the-Year Award, sponsored by Upsher-Smith. Nominations from across America were received and reviewed by a team of national luminaries. Finalists were selected based on efforts and results in developing a local CPESN Network, such as engaging local payers and achieving network adequacy. The three finalists are:
* Deborah D. Bowers, Pharm.D., is the owner and pharmacist-in-charge of Yorkville Pharmacy in York, SC, and luminary for CPESN South Carolina
* Stephanie Smith Cooney, Pharm.D., is a pharmacist, entrepreneur, president of Gatti Pharmacy in Indiana, PA., and co-founder and chief executive officer of Meraki Health in Danville, PA. She is a luminary with the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Care Network, a CPESN Network.
* John Croce, B.S.Pharm., is a pharmacist and co-owner of Four Corners Pharmacy in Delmar, NY, and luminary for CPESN Upstate NY.
The winner will be announced during the first General Session at the National Community Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting on October 7, 2018 in Boston, MA.
